the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour

After the success of their journey to the third Leg of the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (GUKPT) in London, Team PKR travel to Thanet (Kent, UK) for Leg 8 of the GUKPT. The three-day $2,000 buy-in championship event kicks off on 16 October, with players from all over Europe converging on the G Casino Westwood Cross for a shot at the first prize, anticipated to be more than $100,000.
Winners of recent 2008 Tour events have so far taken home as much as $111,000 (Newcastle, May 2008), $176,000 (Manchester, April 2008) and $233,000 (London, March 2008). All this for a buy-in of just $2,000!
The location
After the bright lights of London, Manchester and Newcastle, the Tour travels to picturesque Thanet, an area of Kent boasting popular seaside towns, award-winning beaches, rural heritage and military history. Championed by Turner and Dickens, Thanet boasts 26 miles of stunning British coast to help shed the frustration of beats!

The PKR route to stardom
Reaching one of the two $300 buy-in Monthly Finals couldn’t be easier with the huge range of STT and MTT qualifiers at PKR. From August until the beginning of October, PKR will run a series of qualifiers to the two Monthly Finals, with at least eight $3,000 packages (including approximately $1,000 for expenses) on offer in each Final.
Buy-in direct, or take the most popular route through satellites with Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 3 MTTs.
